RemyRemy - Neutered male. DOB is 8/03/2024. Remy is current on his vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia(FELV) and is Negative. Remy is a MH white with some brown.
Remy was rescued during a local TNR project at around 12 weeks old. He has been living in a foster home, learning to trust people and enjoy indoor life. This handsome boy is a bit shy with new faces and will need time to adjust and feel at ease in a new environment. He would thrive in a quiet home with no small children and an experienced cat owner who has the patience to let him bloom. Once Remy feels safe, he is an energetic bundle of joy! He adores playtime and will eagerly follow his foster mom around, begging for attention. He starts purring the moment you pick him up, though he prefers to stay on the move rather than being held for long—he’s still building his confidence with people. Remy loves being petted and is highly food-motivated, making treats a great way to bond with him. Remy also gets along well with another foster cat, though his high energy can be a bit much for older, more laid-back cats. As an alpha male, he would thrive in a home with other social and playful cats who can match his energy. While Remy has made remarkable progress, he’ll need time and patience to adjust to his forever home. If you’re ready to give this playful and loving boy a chance, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website: www.loveastraycat.com. |
GeorgeGeorge - Neutered male.
DOB: 5/9/2018. George is current on his vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is negative. George is a short hair orange tabby. Meet George! George is a sweet, and vocal boy with a big personality. He was adopted as a kitten from Love A Stray in 2018, alongside his brother, and grew up in a quiet, loving home with other cats. However, life changed for George when his former owner moved to a new place. George began to feel less comfortable around other cats and has since shown that he thrives best as the only pet in a home. His former owner writes:Bern is an energetic and curious kitty with a big personality. This vocal and loving boy loves splashing in water and playing with his favorite shoelace toy. When he’s not busy entertaining himself, you can find him perched proudly on top of his 6 1/2-foot cat tree, keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings. Bern is a social butterfly and is always curious about visitors. After his thorough "inspection," he might just approve them with the ultimate seal of trust—a cozy nap right in their lap. He is always ready to curl up beside you or climb into your lap whenever you sit down. George is incredibly social, he adores attention and loves being around people. It’s been hard for him to adjust to shelter life after knowing the comforts of a home, and he’s eager to find a forever family where he can be the center of attention. We believe George will truly shine in a calm, cat-free environment. Bern is ready to bring joy and snuggles to his forever family! Could you be the one to give him the loving home he deserves? If Bern sounds like the perfect companion for you, don’t wait! Complete a pre-adoption application on our website: loveastraycat.com. |

Anchovy (bonded with Dorian)Anchovy - Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 5/1/2023. Anchovy is a SH Grey, he is current on his vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative.
Anchovy was brought to Avon Lake Animal Clinic by a good samaritan, where he was treated for a really nasty double eye infection. He has recovered except for some minor changes to his left eye that do not affect his overall vision. He is being fostered in a home by one of his caretakers from the clinic. He loves playing with toys and running around the apartment, with cuddles or pets being reserved only for bedtime. He is a professional acrobat when playing with his favorite dangler toy and loves to play hide-and-seek (although he isn't very good at hiding sometimes). He loves to carry his toys around and will even bring them into bed if he feels you are going to sleep too early! Update from his Foster Mom: "Play hard, sleep hard" is Anchovy's motto. When he's not chasing his foster brother around, he's playing with his favorite sushi toy or zooming around like he's got somewhere important to be. He's gotten more adventurous as he's gotten bigger but he is still a little shy around new people. Once he gets to know you, you're just another person for him to wrestle with. He has not been around other cats (besides his foster brother) nor around large dogs, so it may take him time to get used to them. He's very talkative and gets mouthy when you tell him not to do something. Overall, he is a very very sweet boy who loves head and booty scratches. He will need time to adjust to a new home, and proper introductions to new home and family and other pets. If you would like to meet Anchovy, please complete a pre-adoption application found on our website at www.loveastraycat.com |

Dorian is very sweet and gentle but a shy boy. It takes him time to warm up to people but he is very affectionate once he does. He has opened up a lot more and gained confidence as he has gotten older. He loves to roughhouse with his foster brother but is gentle when playing with people. His favorite hobbies are lounging and bird watching. He absolutely loves head scratches. With a little love and patience, he'll be an amazing companion. Our team went out and trapped her so that we could secure her and her kittens. She had been living there for sometime and everyone ignored her beautiful self. When she arrived, she was very scared and very protective of her babies. Thin and recovering from her lack of care. Her coat now looks wonderful and she has gained some weight as well. She has become sweet and social, playful and enjoying pets and attention. When you stop petting her, she reaches out with her paw to ask for more pets. She loves being paid attention too. She is not real fond yet of being picked up. She can't wait to get her own loving, indoor home as an only cat, in a quiet home with adults. Of course she is sad to be in cage/shelter life. She will need time to adjust to a new home from her abandonment and from shelter life. He is a bit shy around new people at first, but once he gets to know you, he opens up and shows a lot of his personality. He is very busy boy and very vocal when it comes to get his canned food which he really loves. Luciano would do best in a home with experienced cat family, ideally, in a home with other cats.
