Approximate DOB is 3/1/2023.
Phoenix
is current on her vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia(FELV) and is Negative.  Phoenix is a SH Brown Tabby and White.

Phoenix came to Love-A-Stray when rescued from the cold during work on a large project LAS was doing for local feral cats - and among them was sweet Phoenix!  No shelter, living among a large area of trash and broken down buildings, no food or water source.  Luckily, she found LAS!  She was rescued and we knew that meant that life would get so much better for her!  She received all the care needed - Good food, water, warmth and lots of love.  She has an absolutely wonderful personality and is so very sweet and social!  Phoenix loves attention and her toys, and lots of pets!  She is so very ready for her forever home.  She would do well in a home with a family that has love to give her!  She will need time to adjust to her new family and patience to adjust to other pets.

If you’d like to meet Phoenix or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website: www.loveastraycat.com.

She is absolutely stunning in her coloring and is
so very sweet and social and loving !!  Nessarose loves attention and her toys, and lots of pets! She is so very ready for her forever home.  She would do well in a home with a family that has love to give her!  She will need time to adjust to her new family and patience to adjust to other pets.

Arctic Artie

Arctic Artie - Neutered Male.  Approximate DOB is 12/15/2023. Arctic Artie is current on his vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative.  Arctic Artie is aSH Brown Tabby with a very exotic look about him. He is a big boy!!
Artie has quite a story that he came with - Love A Stray received a call, early one Friday morning from the staff at our local Home Depot that a cat was found in the trailer of a semi coming in from Cincinnati the night before, it was during subzero temperatures.  The trailer had been parked overnight awaiting unloading.  But further intel revealed that the trailer had been loaded and sitting in Cincinnati since the previous Monday - CLOSED up.  Poor Artie spent a week in a trailer in the freezing weather with no food or water.
Our Volunteer rushed and got him, by which time the staff at Home Depot had him in a Live Trap.  Turned out this boy was a dream !!  So sweet, so social, and just dehydrated and so very hungry.  He has been just perfect through all of his vetting and care.  He is learning to
play again and loves attention!  He doesn't mind being picked up - but he is big and it probably isn't very comfortable! He purrs instantly upon approach and just loves attention!  We think he would be ok with another cat.  We have no idea if he would be ok with a dog - so likely not an adoption option.  Proper introductions to a new home and family and time to adjust.  If you would like to meet Arctic Artie, or any other of our adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application found on our website at www.loveastraycat.com

Jemma

Jemma - Spayed Female.  DOB is 2/1/2023.  Jemma is current on her vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative.  Jemma is a SH Grey Tabby and White.
Jemma came to Love A Stray with her four kittens,  as part of a total of 16 others in a large project that we took on - the area where she was not a good living environment.  Jemma had a rough start to her life but has turned out to be so very sweet and loving.  Her 4 kittens have all found homes and she then fostered two other litters of kittens!!  Such a wonderful personality!
She has gained weight and is healthy and happy and very sweet and loving.  She seems to get along well with other cats.  She loves attention once she feels safe.  Jemma would sure love to have her very own home and alot of love and a family!!  Proper introductions to a new home, family and other pets.  If you would like to meet Jemma, or any other of our adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application found on our website at www.loveastraycat.com

As well, they had adopted another cat, while they were staying there , who was also left there after an adoption in August. He has been out of his element here at the shelter and in cage life. He is a talker and wonders why he is stuck in this cage. He loves his attention and pets! He is a good sized guy, who just needs a home! He would do best as an only cat, where he can get all the love and TLC he needs!! He is looking for a loving home and can't wait to have a real one. He will need time to adjust to a new home from his time at the shelter and cage life. If you would like to meet Freddy or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete our pre-adoption application found on our website at www.loveastraycat.com

She does not care for other cats - typical Tortie! She would sure love to have her very own home and a lot of love! She will need time to adjust to a home from cage / shelter life and abandonment. She would do best with no small children. Proper introductions to a new home and family.
