KelaniKelani - Spayed Female. Approximate DOB is 8/1/2022. Kelani is current on all of her vaccines and has been tested NEGATIVE for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV). Kelani is a SH Orange Tabby. Kelani was found outside in early April in a local Condo Community. She was hungry, thin and had lost a good amount of her hair. LAS brought her to our shelter. She had been seen there and for sometime and everyone ignored her beautiful little self. When she arrived, she was very scared, hungry and in need of time to gain weight and for her hair to grow back. Her coat now looks wonderful and she has gained some weight as well! She has become sweet and social, playful and enjoying pets and attention. When you stop petting her, she reaches out with her paw to ask for more pets. She loves being paid attention to. She is not real fond yet of being picked up, but tolerates it once she feels safe. She can't wait to get her own loving, indoor home. Probably a quiet home with adults and older children. Of course she is sad to be in cage/shelter life. She is looking for a loving home and family. She will need time to adjust to a new home from her abandonment and from shelter life. If you would like to meet Kelani or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete our Pre-Adoption application found on our website at www.loveastraycat.com

ElizabethElizabeth - Spayed Female. Approximate DOB is 11/1/2020. Elizabeth is current on all of her vaccines and has been tested NEGATIVE for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV). Elizabeth is grey/Silver Tabby and White. Elizabeth was found outside with another adult cat at a local extended stay hotel, following the Christmas 2022 severe weather of minus 4 degrees. LAS rescued both, only to immediately discover that Elizabeth was in a world of hurt. She had frostbite on the pads of all 4 of her feet which eventually shed a layer of tissue and healed. She had frostbite on both of her ears, her left ear eventually fell off and her right ear shed the back portion and the rest remained and both healed. She had frostbite on the tip of her tail which fell off and healed. Lastly - she was very pregnant and had a uterine infection. Off to the vets she spent 7 days on IV Antibiotics and came home to the shelter to to complete her pregnancy and to heal and eat well. She delivered 6 kittens 5 of which were deceased and one very strong baby survived! Probably tucked in the middle of the litter. The cruelty of being left like this was lost on Elizabeth, she just wanted our TLC! She now is fully healed, her coat is back and most importantly her baby "Elyce" is raised!! She is sweet and social and absolutely loves attention. She is playful and likes her toys and blanket! When you stop petting her, she reaches out with her paw to ask for more pets. She can't wait to get her own loving, indoor home. With time and proper introductions she will do ok with another cat. Of course she is sad to be in cage/shelter life - but tolerates it as opposed to all that she has been through. She is looking for a loving home and family. She will need time to adjust to a new home from her abandonment and from shelter life. If you would like to meet Elizabeth or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete our Pre-Adoption application found on our website at www.loveastraycat.com

Molly RoseMolly Rose - Spayed Female. Approximate DOB is 4/20/2022. Molly Rose is current on her vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is NEGATIVE. Molly Rose is a SH all Black. This adorable kitten came to us at 3 weeks old very sick and starving from a large TNR project in a local neighborhood where we worked to bring under control a large amount of unspayed and unneutered cats, many whom had already delivered kittens as was the case with Molly Rose. She was a "Singleton" kitten and was syringe fed and handled and loved. Eventually when weeks went by and she was healthy - she met other kittens. As time went by and those other kittens found homes - she kept getting new roommates. She would be upset at first and eventually adjust. Fast forward and our sweet, loving, social girl is STILL here at the shelter - grown up in the "system"...Our social girl has become a bit fearful, she continues to adjust with each new roommate given proper introduction and time. She is very much looking for a loving home and family. She will need time to adjust to a new home from her shelter life. We know that she can do well IF given the chance - our world here at LAS is all about "chances". Our Molly Rose desperately wants one. If you would like to meet with Molly Rose or any other of our adaptable cats and kittens, please complete our pre-adoption application found on our website at loveastraycat.com
